The Hungry Artist is one of a few good novels which Franz Kafka thought of himself.In this novel the crowd are the main body of the watching world,while the artist is the main body of the being watched world.By constructing this binary world,the author embodies his explortion in the spiritual road of the human being as a spiritual individual living in the alienated substantial world.
