A Contrastive Study of the Populations in Yunnan Province and the Neighboring Countries

本文运用人口统计原理与方法 ,对云南省与越南、老挝、缅甸三国的人口数据做了深入观测和广泛对比 ,从中揭示出云南与其周边国家人口的现状特征 ,历史演变及其内在成因 ,并对未来人口发展趋势做了前瞻性分析 ,由此获得一些有益的启示。

Adopting the approach of population statistics, the author gives a thorough analysis of the population data obtained from Yunnan Province of China, Viet-man, Laos and Burma. Then the author discusses their traits, historical development and inner causes, and finally predicts their future development, which offers much enlightenment to us.
