摘要
如何化解自由和平等之间的紧张关系 ,是近现代西方政治哲学中的重要问题 ,更是当代政治哲学研究和争论中最引人注目的问题之一。本文考察了罗尔斯、哈耶克、诺齐克、柯亨、德沃金等人的主张及其利弊得失 ,认为现存的各种平等理论尚需更充分理由的支持 ,并尝试提出几点新的论据。本文强调要注意当代西方有关理论和中国现实的相关性 ,认为不能把当代西方精致复杂的理论原封不动地搬到中国 ,而只能借鉴与参考。
How to eliminate or ease the tension between liberty and equality? It is an important issue of modern political philosophy as well as one of the most remarkable issues in the study of and the debates on contemporary political philosophy. After having examined the views of Rawls, Hayek, Nozhick, G A. Cohen, Dworkin and others as well as their merits and shortcomings, the author maintains that the existing theories of equality want more sufficient arguments, and tries to propose some new ones. The author also emphasizes that close attention should be paid to the relevance of the related Western theories to the reality in China, maintaining that contemporary Western theories (no matter how sophisticated they are) can not be applied dogmatically to China, but can be used only for reference.
