As a special and comprehensive course, College Chinese consists of two dimensions: a practical tool and education of humane spirit. It has two teaching goals: development of students Chinese ability and formation of human character. To realize the goals and reach the maximum of the teaching efficiency, teachers must 1) make full use of two advantages: the stage with long learning periods and the widely-learned language subject 2 ) grasp the two key points: teaching material construction and teaching and learning reform 3) carry out vigorous teaching and learning .
