摘要
本文的作者用数学、物理的方法推导并用二个实例阐述了使用霍尔片在四极磁铁孔穴内旋转来测得在四个极头方向上场强的极值,从而来计算该磁铁的磁轴和机械轴之间的距离和相对方位。GSI自1971年直到目前都是用这种办法来检验该所的加速器系统中的每一个四极磁铁的制造质量。使用与计算机速接的霍尔片的测磁系统,对各种规格的四极磁铁,一般在20分钟内可以得到测量结果。
By using a Hall plate rotating in the aperture of a Quadrupole magnet to measure the extreme fields of the poles directions and to cal- culate its distance between magnetic and mechanical axis and to calculate their orientation which methods were devoted by the author of this paper with the mathematics and physics derivation and two examples explained these processes. Since 1971 this method have been using to measure each QP of the accelerator system at GSI for checking the manufacturing qualities of these QP. These processes connected with a computer, for each magnet no mater what kinds of types, the results could be obtained in 20 minutes generally.
