蒲松龄在文学思想方面 ,提出了“寄托孤愤”理论 ;在小说创作中 ,抒发了自己的孤愤之情。在《聊斋志异》中 ,蒲松龄主要通过歌颂真善美 ,鞭挞假丑恶 ,抒发自己对黑暗现实嫉恶如仇的情感 ;通过“寒士”的厄运 ,揭露科举制度的弊病 ,表现自己怀才不遇的愤懑之情 ;通过“异史氏曰”的精彩阐述 ,来宣泄自己胸中的块垒。

Pu Songling advanced the literary theory of “Revelation of Helplessness and Indignation” and expressed his personal indignation in novel writing. Through Strange Tales of the Tale Telling Studio, he conveyed his strong hatred toward evils of the dark society by means of praising truth, goodness and beauty and scourging false, badness and ugly. By writing about the miserable fate of “the poor scholar”, he exposed the fraudulent nature of the imperial examination system and revealed his own resentful feelings of having talent but no opportunity to use it. By brilliant expatiating of what Yi Shishi, a self address of Pu Songling, commented, Pu expressed his social and political criticism and indignation toward the Qing Government and society.
