Xishan Works of Qin is not only a Classic music piece of aesthetics,but also a masferpiece expounding in great detail of the technique and the skill of the GuQin(a seven/stringed plucked instrument in some ways similar to the Zither)playing as well as the theory of musical performance.Many scholars focused their attenfion on its music aesthetic ideas which resulted in the ignorance of the studies relating to the technique and the skill of the classic GuQin as well as the theory of musical performance.If the researchers were able to integrate the GuQin playing technique.the skill as well as the musical performance theory into the contemporary instrumental music teaching and performance.a great impact on the contemporary instrumental music instruction and performance wonld take effects.
