摘要
在制备用于黑色金属熔模铸造型壳的硅酸乙酯——煤矸石粉涂料中,加入等量的石膏和滑石粉,试验其对型壳强度和工艺性能(流杯粘度、比重、悬浮稳定性)的影响。试验和使用结果表明,和单一的煤矸石粉比较,当涂料中煤矸石、石膏、滑石粉之比为0.50:0.25:0.25时,型壳残留强度可下降到原来的1/2~1/3,低于1.4 MPa;同时,型壳的高温强度和常温强度也显著降低;对涂料工艺性能没有明显影响,涂料使用寿命可满足制壳周期的要求。无论硅酸乙酯水解液中含18%SiO_2还是含12%SiO_2,均可使型壳脱蜡不胀裂、焙烧不开裂、浇注不跑火,型壳强度完全满足重量小于2kg(壁厚小于3mm)的薄壁铝合金熔模铸件的要求。
Effects of additive gypsum powders and talcum powders in ethyl silicate-gangue powders coatings on strengths of a shell have been researched. As gangue: gypsum: talcum equals 0.5: 0.25: 0.25 in powders, remain strengths of the shell is reduced one half or one third, the shell is cleared very easily. On the other hand, high temperature strengths and a room temperature strengths of the shell are reduced notably, but regardless of a hydrolised solution of ethyl silicate in the coating containing 18%SiO_2 or 12%SiO_2, the strengths of the shell all meet demands of investment casting of aluminium alloys. It is no effect on technological properties of the coating that gypsum powders and talcum powders are added into a ethyl silicate-ganguepowders coating.
