This paper discusses the overall structure, driving mode and wo rking principle of ZT-30 light-duty drilling machine and describes its structur al feature, performance test and industrial test. The successful de-velopment of this drilling machine provided reliable safety equipment for drilling shallow engineering hole such as outburst-prevention holes and flank holes in coal mine .
