本文结合上海市浦东新区特殊教育中心建筑设计,阐述了新世纪残疾儿童学校建筑以人为本,以残疾学生为本,充分考虑现代教育发展的需求以及适合我国残疾儿童学校教育机制的建筑设计的一些观念及方法。

Based on the architecture design of the Shanghai Pudong New District Disabled Education Center, considering of the needs of modern education development and according with Chinese system of disabled pupils education, the author expatiated on the new concept and means of architecture design, which must be for the people, for the disabled pupils.
