摘要
本文的目的是让学生运用学过的大学物理中的量子力学知识来解释整数量子霍尔效应 .在探究问题的过程中需要掌握薛定谔方程及其对线性谐振子的解 ,用对易算符建立相应的本征值 ,熟悉周期性边界条件 。
In this paper, we apply undergraduate quantum mechanics to explain the integer quantum Hall Effect. The solutions requires familiarity with the Schrdinger equation and its solution for a one-dimensional harmonic oscillator, with the use of operator commutators to establish simultaneous eigenvalues, with periodic boundary conditions, and with the use of the magnetic vector potential in a Hamiltonian to describe the interaction of electrons with a magnetic field.
