伊斯兰教是一个世界性宗教,但同时也是一个地区化、民族化的宗教。新疆地区的伊斯兰教就是一个已经地区化、民族化了的伊斯兰教.它表现在信仰伊斯兰教的各民族在信仰的侧重点、程度、表现形态、功能作用和建筑艺术上的差异性。这提示我们,宗教工作要讲策略,只有根据民族特点做宗教工作才会富有成效。

Islam is a world religion, and, at the same time, has regional, national characteristics. This is true of Islam in Xinjiang in that different nationalities vary in religious belief in its emphases, degrees, expressions, functions and architectural arts. This indicates that any religious work must be tactical and will be more effective only when the work is done in line with national characteristics.
