This paper discusses the mistranslations and imperfections in the Chinese Translations of the Texts of College English,Book One, dividing them into four groups, i.e. contradictions between translations and paraphrases, logic, mistranslations of words and diction. The author suggests that the Chinese Translations of College English, most popular one of its kind in China, be promptly and properly revised.
