苏北经济与高等教育

The Economy & Higher Education in the Northern Part of Jiangsu Province

文章从苏北经济社会发展的滞后牵制了江苏现代化和全面建设小康社会的进程出发,提出苏北经济欠发达的根本原因是人力资本匮乏,解决的关键措施之一是发展教育尤其是高等教育,并对苏北高等教育发展的战略思考作了阐述。

The economical and social development in the northern part of Jiangsu Province lags behind the average developing speed of the whole province, which has pinned down the process of the modernization and building a well-off society in an all-round way in the province. The author points out that the lack of the talented people is the essencial factor. So, one of the key measures to crack the problem is to develop the education in the area, especially its higher education. In this paper, the author expounds such a development strategy.
