In psychometrics, the concept of validity has changed gradually over the years. Early definitions of validity focused on the relationships between two variables, subsequent definitions focused on different types of validity, and the present definitions focus on the interpretation and meaning of test scores in light of construct validity. Validation has changed from the concern for a single final static verification in test development to a dynamic and endless process. It is very important to verify the validity of interpretation and usage based on the scores of a test, by means of various techniques including quantitative and qualitative methods, from multiple aspects through the development and use of it.
