摘要
经海藻糖预处理的小麦幼苗在NaCl溶液中生长,其细胞电解质渗漏率和游离脯氨酸含量均显著低于对照,而叶绿素含量、根系活力、干物质积累和生长速度则明显高于对照。海藻糖预处理能维持细胞膜结构的稳定性,从而提高小麦幼苗的抗盐能力,而蔗糖处理则无效。
Seedlings 1 to 2 cm tall of common wheat cultivar“Mianyang 15”were cultured for 3to 4 days in solutions containing 0,1,3,5 and 10% of trehalose before being transferred tosalt stress conditions,viz solutions containing 0,1,2,4 or 6% of NaC1.Trehalosepretreatments resulted in a remarkable reduction in the leakage of cell electrolytes and freeproline content in the seedlings and an increase in their chlorophyll content,rooting abilityand growth rate.The relative effect of trehalose was more marked when the seedlings weregrown at higher NaC1 concentrations.In contrast,when pretreated with sucrose instead oftrehalose,the wheat seedlings failed to keep the stability in their membranes undersalt-stress conditions.It is thus suggested that trehalose facilitates the stability of cell mem-branes in wheat seedlings,hence improving their salt resistance.
