中国传统生育观的形成及其转变——一个博弈论的分析框架

FORMATION AND TRANSFORMATION OF THE TRADITIONAL CHINESE VIEW ON FAMILY CONTROL

传统的生育观是在封建的、封闭的、自给自足的自然经济基础上形成的,是人们在争夺稀缺资源的博弈中逐渐形成的共同知识。要转变生育观,必须改变它存在的物质基础,通过改变人们进行生育决策时面对的约束条件和目标函数,最终改变生育决策。因此,要改变中国传统生育观,就必须加快城市化进程,建立完善的社会保障体系。

The traditional Chinese view on the issue of family control was a shared viewpoint accruing out of the competition for insufficient resources based on the feudal, isolated, and self-sufficient natural economy. To change this viewpoint on family control, the material base on which it rests must be altered. Only when the constraints people face in their decision-making processes and the objectives they hold change, will their decisions concerning family control undergo significant changes ultimately. Therefore, to change the traditional Chinese view on family control, it is necessary to speed up urbanization, and set up and keep improving the social security system.
