摘要
通过汉语词汇重叠概念和英语Reduplication(重复/重叠)概念的对比分析,对汉语的叠字叠词从功能上加以分类,对有重叠形态的英语词汇按不同重叠成分进行分类,以一个新的角度和层面审视汉英重叠词汇的异同并寻找一条传递目标语语言美的途径。
This article, through a comparison of the definitions of lexical reduplication in Chinese and English, makes a classification of the Chinese reiterative expressions by their usages and functions, and of the English repetitive words by their recurring components. It aims to present the linguistic aesthetics of the two languages from a new perspective and pave the way for translators to convey the beauty in the process of interlingual transfer.
