摘要
知识分子属于脑力劳动者构成的社会阶层,中国知识分子是工人阶级的一部分。他们是中国革命和建设取得成功的重要力量。他们必须经过经常性的自我改造,跟工人阶级和共产党一道前进才有出路。党和国家必须尊重团结最大多数的知识分子,为调动和发挥知识分子力量创造尽可能充足的条件,同时要努力造就一支宏大的知识分子队伍。
Intellectuals are a social group composed of brainworkers, and Chinese intellectuals are a part of the working class. They are the major force to guarantee the success of Chinese revolution and construction, and their promise lies in persistent selfimprovement of thinking and cooperation with the working class and CPC. Simultaneously, the Party and the government must respect and unite the most of the intellectuals, and create an adequate environment for mobilizing and bringing them into full play. Meanwhile, a big team of intellectuals is yet to be cultivated.
