摘要
新兴的网络艺术呼唤与之相适应的理论、评论与史学研究。网络艺术学正是顺应这一要求而建立的新兴学科。它的基础是网络媒体与艺术之间的价值关系,其重点则是对网络艺术基本特性及历史演变的考察。
The newly - developing network art calls for theories, criticisms, and historical studies that will fit it, and art studies on the network are just such a discipline that is newly established in answer to this call. It is based on the relationship of values between network media and art with an emphasis on the investigation of the basic characteristics of network art and its historical development.
