二十世纪古代小说书目编撰史述略——兼论有关书目体例的几个问题

小说书目的编撰具有文献学性质,但它同时又是小说学的一部分,与小说作者、成书、版本以及类型等等研究息息相关。孙楷第《中国通俗小说书目》以20世纪前期的通俗小说研究为其学术基础,其后80、90年代出现的通俗小说书目和文言小说书目也程度不同的吸纳了当时小说研究的成果,同时又为小说研究提供了重要的工具。但是20世纪的小说书目著作仍存在着明显的不足,将文言小说和白话小说融通一体,对于版本著录的完备性和精确性,以及小说类型的界定等等,都是需要努力解决的问题。

Bibliography of fictions has the features of philology, but it also makes an integral section in fiction studies, closely related to the authors, publications, editions, and types of fictions. Sun Kaidi' s Bibliography of China ' s Popular Fictions takes studies of early 20th - century pop fictions as its academic basis, and bibliographies of both pop fictions and fictions written in archaic Chinese which appeared in the 1980s and 1990s have also absorbed in varying degrees achievements in fiction studies of the time, and provided an important tool for the study of fictions. But deficiencies are also obvious in treatises on the 20th - century bibliography of fictions. What needs to be solved are, among others, the integration of fictions written in archaic Chinese with those in the vernacular, the completion and precision of the recording of editions, and the delineation of fiction types.
