英语教学中激发学生自主学习的探索

On Stimulation of Students’ independent study in English Teaching

英语教学过程中,教师要树立学生是英语学习主人翁的观点,充分调动学生学习的主动性、积极性,参与耳听、眼看、动脑、动手的学习活动,培养自学能力和运用知识技能的能力。在课堂上教师要激发学生主动参与教学过程,给予学生自我发展的空间与机会,使学生想学、愿学,最终达到通过语言教学提高学生综合能力的目的。

In process of English teaching, students should be under the guidance of their teachers and act as masters. Teachers should arouse students’ enthusiasm and initiative, and make them participate in listening, watching, thinking and acting. Students should be trained to learn by themselves and to apply skills and knowledge initiatively. In class, teachers should encourage students to involve themselves in teaching process, and give them freedom of development. In a word, teachers are supposed to make students be willing or be eager to learn, and eventually to reach the goal of raising their comprehensive abilities.
