浅谈鲁迅对中国小说艺术现代化的贡献

On the Contribution of Lu Xun to the Modernization of Chinese Novel

从中国小说发展的角度看,鲁迅的小说无论在内容上还是在形式上都称得上是一次深刻的革命。他用"借一斑而略知全豹"的手法,从普通的日常生活事件中提炼情节,揭示现代中国人的灵魂,在有限的篇幅中塑造了具有无限生命力的艺术典型。鲁迅的小说提供了外为中用,在继承民族传统的基础上借鉴外国,发展我国新文学的经验,还提供了以现实主义为基础,吸收其他多种艺术表现手法的营养,使艺术方法多样化的经验。他以自己独特的小说创作实践,实现了中国小说现代化的转变。

In terms of the development of novels, Lu Xun’s works are seemed as a profound revolution not only in content but in form. He characterized the plot from social lives and penetrated the soul of modern Chinese by means of "from one point to know all". He has figured typical art images with unlimited vitality in restricted space. His novels supplied the experience of "learn from other countries" which means while on the base of preserving national tradition, will draw on the outsides to develop our modern literary. And they also provided the experience of art diversification based on realism while absorbed many other means of expression. He has put the modernization of Chinese novel into practice with his unique practice of creation.
