The approaches to the Integration of Objectivism and Constructivism in English Major Translation Teaching

客观主义翻译教学与建构主义翻译教学各有利弊,在教学实践过程中取长补短、将两种翻译教学理念有机结合才是提高翻译教学的正道。本文探讨了英语专业翻译教学中两种主义融合的途径:从模仿翻译人手、拓宽翻译教学内容和营造真实-高仿的翻译环境。

The translation teaching modes guided respectively by objectivism and constructivism both have their advantages and disadvantages,and therefore the integration would be an effective way to improve translation teaching. This paper discusses the approaches to the integration of objectivism and constructivism in English major translation teaching,namely,to start from imitative translation,to expand teaching materials as well as to construct the real-life-like translation environment.
