The International Passageway of China——The Burma Road During the Anti-Japanese War

滇缅公路是中国人民抗日战争时期唯一的国际通道,在抗日战争中发挥了至关重要的作用。围绕滇缅公路,以中国远征军为主力的盟军将士与日军展开了气壮山河的殊死搏斗,最终彻底消灭滇西、缅北日寇,取得了决定性胜利,有力地支援了世界反法西斯战争。

The Burma Road was the only passageway which connected China with the other nations during the Anti-Japanese War. The road played a critical role in the war, by which the allied soldiers, mainly the Chinese Expeditionary Army, had a life-and-death fight with the Japanese army. Finally, the Chinese Expeditionary Army wiped out all the Japanese invaders of West Yunnan and North Burma, got a definitive victory and contributed our strength to the Anti- Fascist war.
