《简·爱》自1847年面世便引起读者与批评界的轰动,然焦点多集中在诉求平等的女主人公简·爱身上。随着女权主义热浪来袭,人们开始重新审视被忽略的"阁楼上的疯女人。"被双面镜隔开的简·爱与疯女人引起关于女性命运的终极关怀,解读"失语"的疯女人形象,有助于重审一个被迫害者与反抗者。
Since 1847,when Jane Eyre came out,it has caused a stir in readers and critics. However,the public put more focus on heroine Jane Eyre who demanded equal in the novel. With feminism heat waves hit,people began to re-examine the neglected The Madwoman in the Attic. Jane and Bertha separated by a two-sided mirror cause ultimate concern for the fate of the woman.
