It has already been accepted by enterprise managers that human resource (HR) is one of strategic resources for an enterprise. HR management information systems that take advantage of information technology (IT) have been emerging. How to combine newly IT achievements with the idea and concept of modern HR management to construct a brand new human resource management information system is always an important concern in development of HR management information system. According to the characteristic of the geographical distribution in geophysical prospecting industry, the author analyzed issues concerning HR management in modern enterprise management in view of global share of HR among enterprises. The applications of emerging intelligent IT, such as Web Services, XML etc. in the development of an HR management information were illustrated by e RFHRMS, an HR management system developed by the author.
