Situation and Classic Publication of TCM in the Period of The Republic of China

在民国时期,中医遭受到思想文化界的批判,并被教育系统排斥在外,在缺席的情况下差一点被废止。受这种处境的影响,各大书局对中医典籍的出版并不热心。为了挽救自己的命运,中医界个人及所办书局、团体承担了中医典籍出版的主要任务。直到《中医条例》颁布才改变这种状况,大东、世界等书局开始系统出版中医典籍。然而随着战火燃起,中医典籍出版向好的势头戛然而止。研究民国时期的中医处境与中医典籍出版,对今天有启示意义。

In the period of The Republic of China,the TCM was critized by the ideological and cultural communities,and was excluded from the educational system. It was even almost abolished. Under such a circumstance,major publisher was not enthusiastic about publishing TCM classics. In order to save their future,TCM doctors as well as publishing houses and publishers and organizations run by these doctors undertook the main task of TCM classics publication. It was until the promulgation of the TCM Regulations that things began to change. Since then publishers like Dadong and Shijie started to publish TCM classics in a systematic way. However,the boom of TCM classics publication was stopped abruptly by the outbreak of war. Research on the situation and classics publication of TCM in the period of The Republic of China has significant practical meaning for the present.
