Li Kan,as the organizer and leader of the publishing of books on modern history by Zhonghua Book Company,has made various contributions to the editing and publishing of such books by the Company.Specifically,he took part in the establishment of modern history book editorial office at Zhonghua Book Company and led the office’s work;he made plans on and organized the editing and publishing of books on modern history;and he built an author team and an editor team of books on modern history.
