Four Historic Eventsin Early Days of Shenghuo Publishing House

本文首次披露了生活书店初创时期民主管理体制的形成和完善、临时委员会的成立和广州分店的增设、鲁迅对生活书店的支持和误会,以及生活书店员工集体怠工等重要事件的第一手资料,为进一步研究民国时期的左翼文化运动、生活书店的历史,以及邹韬奋、徐伯昕、杜重远、张仲实等出版人为生活书店的创办和发展所做的贡献,具有重要意义。

The paper revealed for the first time the first-hand information on four significant events in the early days of Shenghuo Publishing House,namely,the formation and improvement of the democratic management system,the setup of Ad Hoc Committee and the opening of Guangzhou Branch,the support of Lu Xun for and his misunderstanding of Shenghuo Publishing House,and the strike of employees of Shenghuo Publishing House.Such information is of great significance to further research into the left-wing cultural movement in the Republic of China era,the history of Shenghuo Publishing House,and the contribution made by such publishers as Zou Taofen,Xu Boxin,Du Zhongyuan and Zhang Zhongshi to the establishment and development of Shenghuo Publishing House.
