租用生产性专用资产制度解析——以近代上海地区缫丝工业租厂制为例

The Analysis of Renting Specialized Productive Asset Institution——A Study of Rental Factory in Steam Filature Industry of Modern Shanghai

本文介绍了一个中国近代史上所特有的租用机械缫丝厂的制度现象,并以此为例解析了一种有效的租用生产性专用资产的制度安排。使用制度经济学作为研究工具,并辅以数学优化分析方法,首次对缫丝租厂进行了较为深入全面的专题研究。得出结论:有效的显性和隐性的合同保证,使租用生产性专用资产可行。租厂合约的履约治理属于三边治理结构,其缔约双方的行为选择主要受生产和资金方面的约束条件约束,而租金价格则受风险方面的约束条件约束。并根据分析结果得出推断:企业所取代的公开市场生产要素价格是生产资料在无风险利润下的理论均衡租金率。

This paper introduces a particular case of renting steam filature factory in modern China. Studying for the case, we attempt to analyse an effective institution arrangement of renting specialized productive asset. This paper uses institutional economics as a research tool and combines mathematical optimization analysis method,and then it has conducted a thorough and comprehensive study on the steam filature rental factory for the first time. The conclusion is that effective explicit and implicit contract guarantees make the renting specialized productive assets feasible. The governance structure of Rent factory contract is trilateral governance structure. The choice of the contracting parties is mainly bound by the production and the financing constraint conditions, and the rental price is bound by risk constraint conditions.According to the analysis results, we can conclude that the production factor price in the open market which the enterprise replaces is the theoretical equilibrium rental rate of the production material under the risk-free profit.
