RFID技术本身所具有的多样性特征,可以满足在不同环境下对识读距离、识读对象和抗干扰性等性能的不同要求,当然这也意味着RFID设计方案和产品选型的多样化。一个涉及大范围的项目或大机构面对这种技术的多样性时,RFID设计和实施的复杂度就会成倍增加。美国国防部和通用电气使用了大量的RFID技术,RFID已经成为其业务环节中不可缺少的一部分,为了最优化工作效率,他们提出需要“通用”RFID读写器。
