宋代早期將作監的合作繪畫(英文)

Collaborative Painting at the Early Song Directorate of Construction

摘要 本文所討論的是在宋代早期供職於將作監的畫家的職能,並以現藏於臺北故宫博物院的《雪霽江行圖》和上海博物館的《閘口盤車圖》(在當今的英文著述中通常被稱爲《水磨圖》)爲主要論述對象。筆者在文中重新探討了這兩幅作品的作者身份、功能以及意涵。 This article discusses the role of painters in the Directorate of Construction(Jiangzuo jian 將作監)during the early Song period, with particular reference to two well known works: Traveling on a River after Snow(Xueji jiangxing to雪霽江行圖) in the Palace Museum(Taipei) and Transport Carts at the Sluice Gate(Zhakou panche tu閘口盤車圖)in the Shanghai Museum, today commonly known in English-language literature under the name Water Mill. My discussion revisits the authorship, function, and meanings of the two works. It gives special attention to the possibility that the paintings were produced by two artists in collaboration.
