Expediting is becoming more essential with the increase of engineering construction projects by Chinese companies abroad.According to Xinhua News Agency,from 2013 to 2018,Chinese enterprises’direct investment in countries along the Belt and Road(B&R)exceeded USD 90 billion,with an average annual growth rate of 5.2%.For countries along B&R,the value of Engineering Procurement Construction(EPC)projects signed with Chinese companies exceeded USD 600 billion,which is an average annual increase of 11.9%.
