摘要
鲁迅所创“谴责小说”概念是以李伯元及其《官场现形记》为典范概括、推广而成的小说史概念,内涵丰富,逻辑严谨,包含着对作者人格及创作的双重贬义。其发生论依据三项事实判断,但这三项事实判断都不合事实,而属误解。其误解经代代承袭,遮蔽了晚清小说固有的人文内涵及其意义,需要澄清。
The ' denouncing novel' , a concept coined by Lu Xun for the history of fiction , is generalized from Li Baoyuan and his novel The True Colors of the Officialdom . Conno-tative and strictly logical, it is a derogation of Li s personality and literary creation based on three factual judgments. However, all of these judgments fail to bear out the facts, and thus are misunderstandings. Handed down generation after generation, the misunderstandings have shadowed the liberal arts connotations of late Qing fiction, and must be cleared.
