On balance between accuracy and fluency in communicative teaching of Civil Aviation EOP Courses

在英语交际法教学中,根据不同的教学目的,分别有准确性练习和流利性练习两种形式,前者强调有意识的语言学习过程,注重语言的正确性;后者侧重潜意识的、主动自发的语言运用,注重语言的流畅性和自然性。本文着重论述这两种练习形式在民航行业英语交际法教学中的运用和具体的课堂操作,以及如何根据学生个人特点和学习环境合理把握准确性和流利性的平衡。

Language practice activities in communicative English teaching can be divided into two categories:accuracy-based and fluency-based ones.Accuracy-based activities attach importance to the process of conscious language learning,while fluency-based activities emphasize the process of subconscious language acquisition.This paper mainly discusses the classroom application of these two kinds of activities in communicative teaching of civil aviation EOP courses and how to handle the balance between accuracy and fluency according to students’personal qualities and academic environment.
