ESP教学模式与评价体系相结合的研究——以“警务英语”课程为例 被引量:3

摘要 作为专门用途英语的一个分支,警务英语课程依据学习者的学习目的和交际需求设定教学目标和教学内容,让学习者能够在有限的时间内最大限度地掌握满足未来工作需求的英语技能。要达到这一目标,就要引导学生有目的、有计划地进行操练,最大限度地为学生创造警务语境,培养学生用英语思考和进行口语训练,形成以学生为中心的教学模式。而只有将评价体系纳入平时的教学过程中,才能真正调动学生的积极性,使他们既有压力又有动力,从而实现课堂教学活动的有效开展。在教学实践中,'警务英语'课程尝试以'平时成绩+口头报告+口语测试'作为评价体系,极大提高了学生的主观能动性,以及课堂教学的有效性。 As a branch of ESP,police English sets up its teaching objectives and contents based on the goals and communicative needs of learners,so that learners can develop the ability to use English for needs in their future work within a limited time.To attain this target,a student-centered teaching model should be adopted by guiding students to practice with a purpose and plan,creating a police language environment for the students,and training them to think and speak in English and finally to deal with various Englishrelated scenarios in their future workplace.Moreover,only when the evaluation system is brought into the daily teaching process,can students’initiative be fully stimulated and class teaching activities effectively fulfilled.In the teaching practice,the police English course attempts to build the“classroom performance+oral presentation+oral test”evaluation system,which greatly enhances students’initiatives and improves classroom teaching effectiveness.
