近日,2018年'陀螺'(GYROSCOPE)评价体系评价结果正式对外发布,该评价体系是国内首个由行业协会牵头组织、商业银行自愿参与的评价体系,兼具稳健与发展双重目标,通过多维度,全面考察商业银行稳健发展能力,并秉承客观性、权威性与专业性,力求通过评价引领行业健康发展,为同业搭建取长补短信息平台。

The 2018 GYROSCOPE results were officially released in recent days.The GYROSCOPE is the first evaluation system led by an industry association and participated by commercial banks.With the dual goals of stability and development,it comprehensively examines commercial banks’capability of sound growth,strive to lead the healthy development of the industry through evaluation based on the principles of objectivity,authority and professionalism,and build a platform for players to learn from each other.There is a main list of winners and 9 sub-lists of winners.Those banks that gained the highest scores for comprehensive capability of sound growth in 2018 are included in the main list and they are evaluated in five separate groups.In addition,the list of 2018 top 100 Chinese banks,one of the most important parts of GYROSCOPE,was also officially released.With simplicity,objectivity and professionalism as the principles and the Basel capital requirements as a reference,banks are listed in descending order of their core tier 1 capitals,while other factors such as their asset size,net profit,cost-to-income ratio and non-performing loan ratio are also seen as supporting metrics.Banks in this list rank the first 100 in terms of their size profitability,operational efficiency and asset quality.
