President Xi Jinping called for deep integration of industry,industries,universities,research institutes,seamless connection between science and technology and industries and bigger contribution of scientific and technological progress to economic growth.From the pragmatic perspective,f inancial industry,as a part of capital chain,serves all aspects of the integration of industry,industries,universities,research institutes.It also demands and uses technologies,therefore in need of input of R&D results,insights and talents from universities and research institutes.Xia Ping,the chairman of Bank of Jiangsu,believes that the cooperation of the financial sector,industries,universities and research institutes can start from funding the integration,innovation,idea generation and talents.This cooperation has much to accomplish in the future.On the one hand,this manifests the implementation of supply-side reform and a necessary move to serve people’s life and real economy by the financial sector.On the other hand,this is bound to have an important and farreaching impact on connecting the innovation chain and promoting innovation and development.
