A new era of green finance

香港金管局将分三阶段推进'绿色和可持续银行':第一阶段将参考最新的国际标准和最佳做法,建立评估银行'绿色'基准的行业框架;第二阶段将建立绿色及可持续金融推进的具体目标;第三阶段是落实、审视和评估。自2015年12月达成《巴黎协定》以来,国际社会成功凝聚共识,加大力量共同应对气候变化。

In 2019,the Hong Kong Monetary Authority(HKMA)further extended the concept of'new era of smart banking'to'a new era of smart and sustainable banking.'The HKMA will promote the development of'Green and Sustainable Banking'business in three phases.In the first phase,an industry-wide framework that assesses the'green'benchmark for banks with reference to the latest international standards and best practices.In the second phase,specific targets for green and sustainable financial development will be set.The third phase will be featured by implementation,ongoing assessment and review.
