Logistic Regression Analysis on Influencing Factors for Children Choosing Hospitals in Guangzhou

目的探讨影响儿童选择就诊单位的影响因素。方法采用多分类logistic回归分析法,分析影响广州市儿童选择就医单位的主要因素。结果患病后首选儿童专科医院(包括区级妇幼保健院)就诊的家长占51.7%;影响儿童家长选择就诊机构的因素主要为医疗水平、医疗费用及定点医保等,其次为距离远近及候诊时间。结论家长择医倾向为儿童专科医院。建议加快建设儿童专科医院步伐,加强基层医疗机构儿科建设,在提高基层医疗机构技术水平的同时发挥医保经济杠杆作用,吸引患者前往基层医疗机构就诊。

OBJECTIVE To explore the factors affecting children's choice of medical-care units. METHODS Multinomial Logistic regression was used in analyzing the main factors influencing the choice for medical care units of children. RESULTS Parents of those who chose the children's hospitals as the first option accounted for 51.7% of all the respondents. Major influential factors of choice for hospitals included medical technique level, medical cost, designated medical insurance and so on. Distance from hospitals and waiting time could influence guardians' choice. CONCLUSION Most guardians would like to chose the Children's hospital when their children needed medical help. It was necessary to accelerate the improvement of the construction of Children's hospital so as to meet the growing demand for medical services. At the meantime, by taking advantage of the medical insurance economic leverage when strengthening the construction of pediatrics in primary hospitals and improving their medical technologies,more patients would be attracted to primary hospitals for treatment.
