粤港澳大湾区高等教育融合发展:背景、基础与路径

Collaborative Innovation and Development of Higher Education in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area:Background, Foundation and Path

随着粤港澳大湾区建设的深入开展,粤港澳大湾区高等教育迎来了融合发展的新机遇。粤港澳大湾区建设是推动内地与港澳全面合作的重要支点,是我国实施区域协调发展战略,推动建设现代化经济体系的重要举措,亦是我国推动形成全面开放新格局的重要部署。粤港澳大湾区高等教育的发展与合作现状,为高等教育融合发展奠定了现实基础。从粤港澳大湾区高等教育未来的融合发展路径来看,应秉持以融合统领发展、以创新驱动发展、以开放促进发展的基本原则,进一步加强顶层设计、进行制度创新、促进高等教育与产业的协同、提升国际化水平。

The development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has been a focus of the Chinese government and has become an important policy initiative.This brings new opportunities for the higher education institutions in this area to develop furtherly their collaborations.The new policy aims to promote the all-round cooperation among Hong Kong,Macao and the Mainland.It is an important measure for China to promote the construction of a modern economic system.It is also an important strategy for China to promote its opening to the outside world.This paper analyzes in detailed the above-mentioned significance of the Greater Bay Area development strategy.The history and the current trends in higher education collaborations in the region are also introduced.The principles and strategies in developing a collaborative and innovative higher education system are also proposed.We argue that the higher education system should be more integrated,innovation-driven and more internationalized.
