According to a report by the National Development and Reform Commission,China produced 120800 tons of rare earth mineral products in 2007,a drop of 8.83% from the previous year.The output of rare earth smelting and separation products was 126 000 tons(including nearly 18000 tons of reclaimed scraps),a drop of 19.75%.The rare earth sector accomplished an industrial total production value of RMB28.764 billion and a sales revenue of RMB28.171 billion,an increase of 50.79% and 52.07% respectively.
