On April 5th,China Petrochemical Corpora-tion(Sinopec Group) signed a framework agreement with Hainan Provincial Govern-ment for building an additional ethylene plant in its existing refinery in Yangpu,Hainan province.The proposed facility,which has been ap-proved by the National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC) in principle,will have an annual capacity of 1 million tons of ethylene.Sinopec Group will complete the feasibil-ity study report on the new plant and
