The Past, Present and Future of China's Space Cause

中国的空间探索活动始于1958年,到1970年发射第一颗人造卫星的13年里,工作的重点在于建立和健全有关的空间科研机构和生产设施,培养科研和生产队伍。

This paper briefly describes the development of China's space science and technology and its application over the past twenty years. China has built up infrastructure of developing space cause, including "Chang Zheng" series of launch rockets, integrated TT&C network and many spacecraft test facilities. The preliminary achievements of the space science and technology have been attempted to apply to the communication, broadcasting and meteorology, and valuable results have been achieved.This paper also describes the present and future space activities, including establishment of operational satellite systems urgently requested by our national economy, such as a domestic satellite telecommunication system, a community-type satellite direct broadcasting system,. a meteorological satellite system and an earth resource satellite system.
