摘要
由美国联邦地理数据委员会(FGDC)主持开发的美国国家地理空间信息平台(Geoplatform)是一个向公众、政府机构及其合作伙伴提供共享及可信的地理空间数据、公共服务、应用程序,用以满足其任务需求的互联网平台。本文介绍了美国国家地理空间平台的建立背景及原因,重点分析了该平台的技术架构、组织管理架构以及推动平台发展的关键因素,并探索其对我国目前地质信息服务的借鉴意义。
The United States National Geospatial Platform which developed by the Federal Geographic Data Committee(FGDC) will be an Internet-based capability providing shared and trusted geospatial data,services,and applications for use by government agencies and partners to meet their mission needs and by the public.This paper introduced the establishing background and reasons of the National Geospatial Platform,analyzed the technical architecture of this platform,the management structure as well as the key factor to promote the development of the platform,and explore the reference significance to our country geological information service at present
