Preliminary discussion on scientific naming scheme of the facing stone in Guizhou province

为统一贵州省饰面石材的命名方案,在相关国家规范和行业标准的基础上,结合前人的研究成果,联系贵州省实际情况,提出了贵州省饰面石材及其矿床的命名方案。贵州省饰面石材产品命名方案:产地名称(省+县)+工艺分类(花纹、色彩、质地等特征)+商品分类(花岗石、大理石、板石等);贵州省饰面石材矿床(山)的命名方案:产地名称(省+县+具体地名)+岩石亚类名称(白云岩、花岗岩等)+商品分类(花岗石、大理石、板石等)+饰面石材矿床(山)。

To unity the naming scheme for the facing stone in Guizhou province,we propose the naming scheme for Guizhou province's facing stone and its deposit,based on the national and industrial standards,previous research results,and actual situation of Guizhou province.The naming scheme for Guizhou province's facing stone:producing area(province+county)+ technology classification(e.g.,pattern,color,and texture,etc.)+commodity classification(commercial granite,commercial marble,and slabstone,etc.).The naming scheme for deposits of Guizhou province's facing stone:producing area(province+county+specific location)+rock sub-classification(e.g.,dolomite,granite,etc.)+commodity classification(granite,marble,and slabstone,etc.)+ore deposits of facing stone.
