大学生参与服务学习及其对社会责任感发展的影响 被引量:2

University Students’ Participation in Service-learning and Its Impact on the Social Responsibility Development

摘要 随着高等教育的发展,高校越来越强调理论与实践的结合,重视学生在实践中学习。服务学习的发展顺应了高等教育的这一变化趋势,但我国对服务学习的研究与实践还比较少。为了解高校大学生参与服务学习的现状,探讨服务学习对大学生社会感发展的影响,为高校有针对性地开展服务学习活动提供参考,本研究以西安交通大学、长安大学两所高校不同年级、学科的700名大学生为对象进行了调查研究,分析了大学生参与服务学习的状态及其对社会责任感发展的影响。在此基础上,针对高校和大学生,提出了拓展服务学习活动,强化大学生社会责任感的政策建议。 With the development of higher education,universities emphasize more about the combination of theory and practice and pay more attention to students’learning in practice.The development of service-learning complies with the trend of change.However,the study and practice on service-learning at the universities of our country are limited and at the starting stage.To learn the current situation of service-learning of university students,to explore the impact of service-learning on students’social responsibility development,and to provide reference for university implementing corresponding service-learning,this paper analyzes on the status of university student participating in the service-learning and its impact on their social responsibility development based on the survey of 700 university students in different grades and disciplines from Xi’an Jiaotong University and Chang’an University.The following findings are concluded.First,university students’participation in the service-learning is relatively active with various types,but the frequency and duration of participation need to be strengthened.Second,the implementation quality of university students’participation in service-learning needs further improvement.Third,many factors explain the reason why university students do not participate in the service-learning.Students’individual factor,interpersonal factor,university factor and activity factor are all likely to impact their participation in service-learning.Fourth,university students have relatively strong social responsibility while differences exist among students in different groups.Fifth,university students’participation in service-learning impacts the development of their social responsibility.Some suggestions for universities are proposed as follows.First,reinforce the organization and propaganda on service-learning and encourage more participation from students.Second,improve the implementing procedure of servicelearning and raise the implementation quality of university students’participation in servicelearning process.Third,actively develop the service-learning activities related to students’expertise and class learning.Fourth,encourage students to improve leadership,participate in association activities,and motivate students’enthusiasm of participating in servicelearning activities.Fifth,develop intensive service-learning activities,guide students to participate in long term and centralized service-learning activities.Sixth,raise students’social responsibility by the participation in service-learning activities.For students,first,more time should be committed to the participation in service-learning activities.Second,actively organize and participate in the professional service-learning activities related to courses and specialized learning.Third,actively raise the implementation quality of servicelearning during the process of participation.
