人文关乎精神文明,是社会发展的一个重要组成部分,不可或缺。在历史发展过程中,文明呈现出多元共存的格局,不同文明之间虽然时有冲突,但待冲突化解后,彼此可以和平共处,相融且相得益彰,促进了文明的共同繁荣。从历史上看,佛教和基督教文明曾经深刻地影响了中国儒家文明的现代化进程;反之,中国文明对于欧洲、亚洲地区的其他文明也产生了同样不可低估的积极影响,甚至影响到欧洲启蒙运动乃至以后的现代化过程。在全球化时代,包容和和平的人文交流将会对社会进步发挥更积极的作用。

Humane is closely related to spiritual civilization,and it is a crucial part of human development.In the world’s history,there appeared multiple civilizations.In retrospect,different civilizations coexist peacefully and benefit mutually after a period of confrontations.Buddhism and Christianity civilizations have had great impacts on Chinese civilization which is represented by Confucianism.In return,Chinese civilization has influenced other civilizations in Europe and Asia.In a global age,tolerant and peaceful humane exchange will have beneficial impact on human progress.
