On December 2 nd, Wu Jinglian, a wellknown economist and researcher at the Development Research Center of the State Council, was honored by China Entrepreneur magazine’s 'Praise for Business Leaders in the Reform and Opening Process'.The selection was a special tribute to the40 th anniversary of reform and opening up.Wu Jinglian is considered to be the leading authority and the conscientious economist in China. In all his life, he has been promoting marketization and legalization reform. He was involved in the determination of the 'planned commodity economy' and 'socialist market economy'.After the 21 st century, he constantly called for speeding up the construction of socialist rule of law. He also made suggestions for promoting the transformation of economic growth mode, reform of industrial policies,and construction of a standardized and orderly securities investment market.
